STUDENT AFFAIRS & COUNSELLING

Darwin’s principle of “Survival of the fittest” seems to have undergone through rapid change in the twenty first millenium. The fittest is no more acceptable if he or she is not practicing the idea of sustainability. Therefore, it envisages the fittest to be replaced by the best. In every sphere of business environment the sustainability is ensured through cutting edge technology which is developed by one’s cutting edge skills. In order to do so, the student welfare activity aims at the holistic development of the student so that it can equip them with desired set of skills that become edgy once harnessed. The student welfare activity is conducted based on Roger’s principle of fully functional person in order to bring complete self-awareness. With such underlying principles it comprises of following activities:

  • Socially responsible activities
  • Sports Activities
  • Student developmental programs like business quiz, debates, literary discourse and so on.
  • Cultural programs
  • Industry academic interface activities like symposium
  • Media and brand building activities
  • Outbound activities
  • Disciplinary management

Unlike any other B-Schools the welfare activities are student driven and development oriented apart from being a redressal forum for addressing the critical problems faced by them. The student welfare activities have four objectives: make the students socially responsible citizen, strengthening their managerial skills, learn by doing, and teach them to abide by law and order. In order to fulfill such objectives we are having following committees as an integral part of student welfare:

  • Socially responsible Committee
  • Cultural and Sports Committee
  • Media and Brand building Committee
  • Student Development Committee
