Dr. Jayanthi Ranjan is a distinguished higher education leader, institution builder, researcher, and academic strategist with over 31 years of experience in university leadership, teaching, research, consulting, and international collaborations. Her remarkable journey with a PhD in computer science to Founding Vice Chancellor, reflected an unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional transformation. She has played a pivotal role in establishing and scaling universities, driving regulatory compliance, leading digital transformation, strengthening governance, fostering global partnerships, and advancing research and innovation to position institutions for national and international recognition.

She has successfully established university governance frameworks, strengthened regulatory compliances, implemented NEP 2020, created multidisciplinary schools and center of excellence, advanced digital transformation, and forged impactful global academic and industry partnerships that have enhanced institutional reputation, innovation, and societal impact. She has directed the University’s strategic growth by introducing Outcome-Based Education (OBE), interdisciplinary curricula, AI-enabled learning, Viksit Bharat 2047 goals, research and innovation ecosystems, and studentcentric initiatives focused on employability, wellness, and holistic development. Under her leadership, the university generated within short span over 180 research publications, 100+ patents, surpassing the university’s combined research and innovation output of the last six years. She established 35+ strategic partnerships with industry, government, and international institutions, and significantly enhanced institutional visibility through national and international conferences, CXO and industry conclaves, research collaborations, and community engagement. She positioned the University as a futureready institution committed to academic excellence, innovation, internationalization, regulatory compliance, and sustainable societal impact. Throughout her career, Dr. Ranjan has held several prestigious leadership positions, including Founding Vice Chancellor, Sharda University Agra; Dean Academics and Dean, School of Business, Sharda University; Group Associate Dean – International Relations, IMT Group Ghaziabad Nagpur Hyderabad & Dubai, Professor IMT Ghaziabad, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida. She is recognized scholar with an impressive record of research publications (1305 plus Scopus documents, 4440+ google scholar citations) funded projects, and 16 doctoral supervision; she is known for her visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to build globally connected, future-ready institutions.
