Management Development Institute Murshidabad successfully organised a three-day Open Management Development Programme (MDP) on “The Art of Strategic Management and Leadership” from 12–14 October 2026 at its campus in Murshidabad.

The programme commenced with the inaugural session featuring Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Director, MDI Murshidabad, Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Programme Director and Chairperson, Executive Education, Dr. Souvik Bannerjee, Chairperson FPM, Dr. Neha Jain, Chairperson PGDM and Dr. Bikramjit Pal, Chairperson Centre for Ethical AI.

The three-day programme featured sessions led by Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Dr. Yogita Abichandani, Dr. Souvik Banerjee, Dr. Neha Jain, Dr. Bikramjit Pal, and Dr. Sujata Roy, covering key areas such as emotional intelligence, AI in business, strategic communication, goal setting, ethical leadership, cybersecurity, stress management, digital personal data protection, conflict management, negotiation, and effective decision-making.

The programme aimed to strengthen managerial competencies, foster strategic thinking, and equip participants with practical insights to navigate complex organisational challenges and lead with confidence and responsibility. A cultural immersion programme further enriched the learning experience.
