MDI Murshidabad successfully completed 3 days MDP on “The Art of Effective Communication” for the Senior Executives of The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL)
MDI Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully conducted a Management Development Programme (MDP) on “The Art of Effective Communication” for the officers of The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL). The three-day training programme was held at the MDI Murshidabad campus from 29th June to 1st July 2026.
The programme focused on strengthening participants’ communication competencies, enhancing interpersonal effectiveness, and developing the skills required for impactful professional interactions. Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, group discussions, and experiential learning, participants gained valuable insights into effective workplace communication, collaboration, and leadership.
Tailored for professionals across various functional areas, the MDP aimed to bridge the gap between communication theory and practice by equipping participants with practical tools to communicate with confidence, influence stakeholders, and build stronger professional relationships.
The well-curated course design emphasized application-based learning and interactive sessions to accelerate the participants’ learning experience. The Programme Director for the MDP was Dr. Amrita Sengupta.
The valedictory ceremony of the programme was attended by Dr. Jayanthi Ranjan, Director, Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Programme Director and Chairperson – Continuing Education; Dr. Arunava Narayan Mukherjee, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), and Dr. Souvik Banerjee, Chairperson – Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), who also served as resource person. The inaugural and valedictory sessions were also attended by other senior Faculty and Staff members of MDI Murshidabad.
