Management Development Programme

MDI Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully completed a Management Development Programme (MDP) on “The Art of Leadership & Decision Making” for the Senior Executives of Wacker Metroark Chemicals Private Limited. The five days training program was conducted at MDI Murshidabad Campus, from 1st to 5th June 2026.

This program focused on enhancing strategic thinking, sharpening decision-making capabilities, and cultivating impactful leadership styles. Through a blend of real-world case studies, interactive sessions, and discussions, participants will gain practical insights into navigating complexity, managing uncertainty, and driving organizational success.

Tailored for emerging and experienced leaders alike, the MDP aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping participants with tools to make confident, ethical, and data-driven decisions.

The well curated course design stressed on application-based exercises and interactive sessions to accelerate the trainees’ learning curve. The Programme Director for this Programme was Dr. Amrita Sengupta.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Programme Director and Chairperson Continuous Education, Dr. Arunabha Mukherjee, CAO MDIM, Dr. Souvik Banerjee, Chairperson FPM and Dr. Neha Jain, Chairperson Online PGDM who were also the resource persons, in the august presence of other senior faculty and non-faculty members of MDIM.
