MDI Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully commenced a Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Effective Management in Public Administration” for Joint BDOs of West Bengal Civil Service Cadre. The five days training program to be conducted at MDI Murshidabad Campus, from 8th till 12th September 2025.
In an era where governance must be agile, transparent, and citizen-centric, this Management
Development Program is designed to inspire and equip public sector leaders to drive meaningful change. Blending strategy with service, the program delves into innovative management practices, collaborative decision-making, digital governance, and leadership with integrity. Through immersive learning and real-world case studies, participants will explore how to transform administrative challenges into opportunities for impactful public service.
The experiential learning exercises along with field visit will enable the participants to reflect and cultivate sustainable leadership skills and effective managerial practices. The well curated course design stresses on application-based exercises and interactive sessions to accelerate the trainees’ learning curve. The Programme Directors for this Programme are Dr. Dr. Amrita Sengupta and Dr. Bikramjit Pal.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Biranchi Narayan Swar, Dean- Continuous Education MDIM, Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Programme Director and Chairperson-Continuous Education MDIM, Dr. Bikramjit Pal, Programme Director MDIM in the august presence of other senior faculty and non-faculty members of MDIM.
