MDI Murshidabad successfully hosted Management Development Programme on Leadership and Emotional Intelligence for Senior Executives of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) between 24-26 Nov 2025.

Management Development Institute Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully concluded a three days MDP on Leadership and Emotional Intelligence’ for Senior Executives of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The Programme was conducted at Kolkata from 24th to 26th November 2025.

The inaugural session was graced by our Director Prof. Ajay K Jain and Shri. S. Suresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman DVC. The training sessions were designed developed and conducted by Prof. Ajay K Jain. Few Sessions were also taken by Shri. Vinod Kumar Rai, Director at DTI Chandrapura. The valedictory programme on 26th November was graced by Shri. Pabhash Mondal, Sr. General Manager & HOD, Training & Development Dept, DVC HQ, Kolkata.

The content of the programme was thoughtfully curated to develop awareness and competencies about the concept of emotional intelligence in the leaders and managers of DVC. The programme was designed to empower senior executives of DVC to cope up with Business Environment and Need for Emotional Intelligence competencies ,to enhance concept and Measurement of Emotional Intelligence ,honing Emotional Intelligence for Effective Leadership Styles, Emotional Intelligence and Teaming skills, Emotional Intelligence and Mental Wellbeing, Effective Decision Making and Problem Solving, Development and Emotional Intelligence: Role of Personality, Values and Organizational Culture, Indian Model of Emotional Intelligence in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism as well as Dark sides of Emotional Intelligence. The programme ensured a holistic approach to professional and personal growth.
