MDI Murshidabad successfully concluded Management Development Programme on ‘Business Writing, Communication and Presentation Skills’for the Senior Executives of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

MDI Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully conducted a two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Business Writing, Communication, and Presentation Skills for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID). The programme was held at the POWERGRID training centre in Kolkata from 8–9 December 2025.

The initiative aimed to enhance the managerial communication capabilities of participating executives, strengthening their proficiency in crafting effective business documents, delivering structured presentations, and communicating with clarity and impact in professional settings. The sessions covered advanced communication frameworks, audience-centric writing techniques, persuasion strategies, and presentation structuring tools aligned with contemporary corporate requirements.

The well-curated course design emphasised application-based exercises, real-time simulations, and interactive discussions to accelerate the trainees’ learning curve. Participants engaged in activities and communication tasks intended to translate conceptual understanding into everyday workplace competence.

The programme was led by Programme Directors Dr. Amrita Sengupta and Dr. Abhijit Pandit, who bring extensive academic and industry experience to executive education. Their facilitation ensured that the course maintained both conceptual rigour and practical relevance for POWERGRID’s managerial workforce.
