For Senior Executives of Canara Bank.

Management Development Institute Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully concluded a three days “Executive Development Programme (EDP)” for Canara Bank Executives”. The Programme was conducted at the MDIM campus from 17th to 19th November 2025.

The inaugural session was graced by our Director Prof. Ajay K Jain, Dean-Continuing Education cum Programme Director Prof.Biranchi Narayan Swar, Program Director Dr.Niharika Gaan and Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Chairperson–Continuing Education. The training sessions were conducted by the distinguished faculty members of MDIM and subject experts from other premiere institution.

The content of the programme is thoughtfully curated by the Program Directors to empower senior executives of banking sectors to equip the business leadership skills required to cope up with the changing business environment. The program was designed to help high-potential executives develop the key competencies to become strategic and effective leaders. It encourages leaders to embrace the complex challenges and opportunities associated with greater leadership positions and unlock their full leadership potential. The programme thus focused on the contemporary issues of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation practices in the banking services.

It also covers essential skills in Managerial Leadership, Change Management, Team Building, Decision Making, Ethics, and Customer Relationship Management, Performance Improvement, Conflict Resolution, Communication, Mentoring, Stress and Time Management, and risk and compliances required in the banking services as per regulatory framework, to ensure a holistic approach to professional and personal growth.
