MDI MURSHIDABAD SIGNS MoU WITH NATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM TO ENHANCE RESEARCH COLLABORATION

The Management Development Institute Murshidabad (MDI Murshidabad) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Economic Forum (NEF) to strengthen academic collaboration and promote joint research in areas of mutual interest. The MoU was signed on October 17, 2025, by Dr. Amitabh Banerjee, Director of NEF, and Dr. Paroma Mitra, Chairperson of PGP and Chairperson of Economics, MDI Murshidabad.

The partnership aims to encourage research initiatives, conferences, seminars and round-table discussions, with a particular focus on the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. Through this collaboration, NEF will contribute its expertise from the Good Governance and Economic Growth vertical, while MDI Murshidabad will bring its strength in education, training, consulting and management research to create a shared platform for academic and industry engagement.

Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K Jain, MDI Murshidabad continues to forge meaningful partnerships with reputed institutions to expand opportunities for experiential learning and research excellence. This collaboration marks another step in the institute’s commitment to bridging academia and industry through impactful and knowledge-driven initiatives.
