MDI Murshidabad conducted Management Development Programme on ‘Leadership & Decision Making’ for the Senior Executives of Wacker Metroark Chemicals Private Limited.

MDI Murshidabad (MDIM) successfully completed a five-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Leadership & Decision Making” for the Senior Executives of Wacker Metroark Chemicals Private Limited. The programme was conducted at the MDIM campus from October 13 to 17, 2025.

The programme has been thoughtfully designed to empower senior executives with advanced leadership competencies and sound decision-making capabilities in dynamic business environments. It helped participants understand the interplay between emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making — critical components for leading teams effectively and driving organizational growth.

Through a blend of case discussions, role plays, simulations, and experiential learning exercises, the sessions encourage participants to reflect on their leadership styles and strengthen their ability to make ethical, timely, and impactful decisions. The focus remains on translating conceptual understanding into practical managerial behaviour for real-world challenges.

The programme was jointly directed by Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Chairperson–Continuous Education, and Dr. Neha Jain. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Biranchi Narayan Swar, Dean–Continuous Education, Dr. Amrita Sengupta, Chairperson–Continuous Education and Dr. Arunava Narayan Mukherjee, CAO in the presence of other senior members of MDI Murshidabad.
