Launch Ceremony of Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) on 6th Sept. 2025

Management Development Institute Murshidabad successfully launched its AICTE-approved Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) on 6th September 2025, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards fostering advanced research and academic excellence in management.

The launch ceremony, held virtually through Zoom, witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and distinguished guests. The event was graced by Prof. M. S. Sriram, Member BOG, MDI & Professor, IIM Bangalore, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Samir K Srivastava, Director, IIM Amritsar, as the Guest of Honour. Both eminent academicians shared their valuable insights on the importance of doctoral research in management and the role of FPM in shaping thought leadership for the future.

The ceremony was hosted under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K Jain, Director, MDI Murshidabad, who emphasized the institute’s commitment to nurturing scholars equipped to contribute meaningfully to academia, industry, and policy-making. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Souvik Banerjee, Chairperson-FPM, and Dr. Dr.Biranchi Swar, Co-Chairperson-FPM, whose guidance and efforts were pivotal in bringing this initiative to fruition.
